New Day (generic Plan B) shouldn’t be taken if you are allergic to levonorgestrel or if you think you might already be pregnant.

About New Day (Generic Plan B)

New Day can be taken within 72 hours (three days) of unprotected sex and is more effective at preventing pregnancy the sooner you take it. It's smart to have emergency contraception on hand in case you forget to take your birth control pills or if a condom breaks. New Day uses the same measured dose of levonorgestrel as Plan B to prevent or delay ovulation.
