A derivative of vitamin A, Adapalene Gel 0.1% is a member of the retinoid ingredient family, dermatologist tested and recommended, and previously only available by prescription.

Active Ingredients: Adapalene USP (Retinoid) – 0.1 % (Acne Treatment)

Inactive Ingredients: Carbomer Homopolymer, Edetate Disodium, Methylparaben, Poloxamer 182, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide

1. Wash face with cleanser (either benzoyl peroxide wash or gentle cleanser depending on intensity of acne and how sensitive your skin is. Note: Benzoyl peroxide wash is for acne that consists of red pimples and zits). Avoid abrasive cleansers and scrubs, vigorous scrubbing of skin, and astringent lotions.

2. Pat skin dry with a towel.

3. Apply a thin layer of adapalene 0.1% gel across the entire region affected with acne. Adapalene is not meant to be used as a spot treatment. Adapalene can be used in the morning or evening.

4. Be sure to protect your skin from the sun by applying sunscreen SPF 30+ daily. If applying adapalene in the morning, then sunscreen should be applied after adapalene.

Works well with our Gentle Cleanser and our Harris Benzoyl Peroxide Wash.

Recommended by Our Medical Team

“This is a great treatment for patients who would like to use a topical retinoid to treat acne and/or reduce signs of photo-aging like fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots, but for whom Tretinoin and prescription strength Adapalene are too irritating or costly. Adapalene 0.1% gel is less irritating and more affordable than prescription strength topical retinoids but still effective for the treatment of acne and signs of photo-aging.”
