- Apply liberally 15-30 minutes before sun exposure.

- Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying and at least every 2 hours.

- Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor.

- Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease risk, regularly use a sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF 30 or higher and other protective measures including: limit time in sun, especially from 10am to 2pm, and wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. Consider sun protective clothing with ultraviolet protective factor 50 (UPF 50).

Recommended by Our Medical Team

“While an important part of everyone’s routine, sunscreen is especially important for those using medications that can cause increased sun sensitivity. These include many medications prescribed for skin issues, like tretinoin, adapalene and doxycycline/minocycline. Mineral sunscreens are often less irritating than chemical sunscreens, so are a great choice for patients with sensitive skin, and this one is fragrance-free too. Unlike some mineral sunscreens this one is transparent, rather than leaving a white film, when thoroughly rubbed into the skin and it comes with (non-greasy) moisturizing benefits.”
